This casserole-style pasta is rich, cheesy, and easy to prep ahead.
Ingredients
- 8 oz rotini
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup cream or milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper
Steps
- Heat oven to 375F. Grease a baking dish.
- Cook rotini until just tender. Steam broccoli for 2 minutes.
- Toss pasta, broccoli, peppers, marinara, cream, seasoning, and half the cheese.
- Spread into the dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Add sauteed mushrooms for extra depth.
- Rest 5 minutes before serving for cleaner slices.
