Ingredients
Dough
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp fine salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Topping
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of oregano
Steps
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add water and oil, then knead 5 minutes.
- Rest 15 minutes. Heat oven to 475F with a sheet pan inside.
- Roll dough to 10 inches. Spread sauce and add cheese.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden.
- Finish with olive oil and oregano.
Notes
- For a crispier base, preheat a pizza stone if you have one.
- Add a pinch of chili flakes for heat.
