A restaurant-style curry that is easy to make at home. Serve it with naan or rice.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup cream
- 250 g paneer, cubed
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Heat butter and oil. Cook onion until golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook 1 minute.
- Stir in tomato puree and spices. Simmer 10 minutes.
- Add cream and paneer. Cook 5 minutes.
- Finish with garam masala and serve hot.
Notes
- Add a pinch of sugar if the tomatoes are too sharp.
- Keep the heat low after adding cream.
