Ingredients
- 6 oz tricolor rotini
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 2 tbsp reserved pasta water
- Salt and pepper
- Chopped herbs, optional
Steps
- Cook rotini in salted water until al dente. Reserve 2 tbsp water.
- Melt butter in a pan, add garlic, and cook 30 seconds.
- Toss in rotini, cheese, and reserved water. Stir until glossy.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.
Notes
- Add a pinch of chili flakes for heat.
- Swap in parmesan for a saltier finish.
